We have been working with ‚ÄúThe Abbey of the Good Harvest‚ÄĚ, Badia a Coltibuono, for many years: their oil was one of the first to be promoted outside of Italy. We are now very happy to be dealing with the original owners' daughter, Emanuela, and son, Roberto.
The Campo Corto grove, planted at an altitude of 450 metres in the pristine environment of the Badia forests, has been under organic cultivation since 1999, and is planted exclusively with the traditional Tuscan Frantoio variety. The olives are pressed on the day they are picked and make an oil which is emerald green in colour and with an intense aroma. The taste is grassy with hints of artichoke and aromatic herbs and the bitter almond and peppery finish is classically Tuscan. Unfiltered. Organic.
